The Back to School Event will be held on Saturday August 26, 2023 in Festival Park from 12:00pm-5:00pm! Come out to support local law enforcement and our military for their service to our community and the United States of America.
Explore service vehicles, collect school supplies and enjoy inflatable amusements!
*Christmas Street wristbands are valid for this event.*

Interested in Helping Aberdeen Students Prepare for School this Fall?
The PACK (Police Assisting Community Kids) School Supply Drive is your opportunity to make a difference in our community! Each school has a variety of school supply needs for each grade level. Participants may drop off school supplies at the Police Department lobby (60 N. Parke Street) 24/7. APD will be dispersing donations on August 26th to local school students at our Annual Public Safety Appreciation Day/Back To School Event at Festival Park!

We are a comprehensive downtown revitalization program created by the Maryland Department of Housing and Community Development (DHCD) to accelerate the economic progress and revitalization of Maryland’s traditional main streets and neighborhoods. DHCD, in conjunction with MSM, uses a competitive process when selecting which communities have made a concerted commitment to prioritize these five points: Design, Economic Vitality, Organization, Promotions, and Clean, Safe, and Green.
