The Pride and ships like it are an integral part of our county’s history. This type of topsail schooner served the country well during the War of 1812, a time when Havre de Grace was under attack by the British. Come relive this exciting time in our past.
The Ship arrives June 1 (TBD) and departs on the morning of June 5.
Come aboard and talk to the crew and a National Park Service ranger to learn more about the War of 1812, Thomas Boyle, privateers, and the Star-Spangled Banner National Historic Trail.
