Maryland State Fair will be featuring thrills, chills, sights, sounds, carnival rides, concerts, horse racing, games, and delectable fair food!

Thursdays: 5pm-Close | Fridays-Sundays: 10am-close | Labor Day Monday: 10am-close
Kiddie Land Rides: 15+ kiddie rides including Cruiser Car Ride, Dragon Coaster, Tea Cups, Circus Train, Baja Buggie, Rockin’ Tug, Happy Swing, Merry-Go-Round, and more! Main Midway Rides: The Rip Tide Roller Coaster, Space Port, Hydra, Merry-Go-Round, Giant Ferris Wheel are just a few of the 60+ rides and games of skill.

Battle of the Beast Rodeo | Sept. 7, 2023 | 7:00pm Cowboys will face the bulls when J Bar W Ranch hosts the Battle of the Beast Bull Riding and Cowgirl Barrel Racing Competition.
Dennis Lee Comedy & Music:Dennis Lee is coming to town to bring a smile to your face through comedy and music!
Horse Racing: We’re providing seven days of racing, August 25-27 and September 1-4. Watch the races FREE and wager in the Grandstand seats as the Thoroughbreds round the 5/8 mile track, or relax in the air-conditioned Off-Track Betting (OTB) Facility.
Paul Bunyan Lumber Show: The Lumberjack Show is filled with action packed competition, and plenty of laughter.Mobile Blacksmith
Mobile Blacksmith: Watch ornamental blacksmith Jason Anderson as he manipulates iron and steel into unique artistic yet functional designs during non-stop, continuous live demonstrations!
Pretty Bird Paradise: Guests have the opportunity to feed the birds with food sticks which allow the birds to come and land on them and have a tasty snack.
RoboCars: These brightly colored vehicles effortlessly transform and captivate audiences of all ages.
Swifty Swine: If you’ve never been to a pig race, you’re in for a real treat! The cute little Racing Pigs are back for another season of pig races!
The Strolling Piano: The Strolling Piano is a unique concept in the world of musical entertainment, combining the classic and sophisticated nature of a pianist/singer with the flexibility of a strolling musician.

MALLET Food Competition: Best Sweet, Savory, and Most Creative
Live judging of our 2023 MALLET New Food Competition will take place Sunday, August 27 at 10:00am on the State Fair Park Free Stage. Look for the giant 10′ Mallet trophies outside of each winner location during your visit.
Mobility Scooters & Wagon Rentals: Electric mobility scooters, manual wheelchairs, and child wagons are available for rent near the Light Rail Gate.
Credit cards only accepted. No cash. Valid I.D. and address are required to rent.

Limited parking at Fairgrounds for $15 per car. Cash and Credit accepted. Parking is first-come, first-served. Admission to fair is additional.
Free Parking at Park & Ride Lot on Greenspring Drive
first-come, first-served basis. Access Fairgrounds by crossing Light Rail tracks and enter through the Light Rail Gate. Admission to fair is additional.
Free Parking at the Kaiser Permanente Parking Garage on Greenspring Drive first-come, first-served basis on levels 4, 5, 6, & 7 of the garage. Access Fairgrounds by crossing Light Rail tracks and enter through Light Rail Gate.
