August 19th 2023 at 8:00am! at Aberdeen Festival Park
With Mer-Friends and Merminis from all over the world registering last year we officially became an International Run!! We would love to see our Fin-tastic Friends Running, Walking, Skipping and Dancing Under the Sea and Crossing that Finish Line again! Costumes are Encouraged, and we will have Music, Decorations and Prizes!!

*The 5K Race will be professionally chip-timed by Blue Cheetah Sports Timing and offers a marathon-quality 5k finisher’s medal and event shirt for all participants.
Proceeds from the Mermaid Run & Mermaid Mile will benefit the Maryland Chapter TEARS Foundation. TEARS Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing support, for families experiencing miscarriage, stillbirth, or early infant death. As well as, offering financial assistance for burial and memorial services helps when families need it during an incredibly challenging time. Furthermore, this nonprofit offers a sense of community, and empathy to all family members affected during their time of need. Allowing grieving families to connect with others who share similar experiences, has provided much needed comfort to grieving families. In addition to this, the Tears Foundation promotes healing and awareness surrounding pregnancy and infant loss, emphasizing the importance of support networks and resources for those navigating the painful journey of loss. www.thetearsfoundation.org
