DESCRIPTION:August 15\, 2026 | 11:00 AM – 3:00 PM Steppingstone Farm Museum 461 Quaker Bottom RoadHavre De Grace\, MD 21078 Join local artisan Bridget Graff at Steppingstone Farm Museum for an introduction to Broommaking! Participants will learn how to craft two different beginner-friendly brooms\, a Mushroom Brush and a Turkey Wing Broom.  \nDuring this class\, participants will learn the basics of measuring out broomcorn\, as well as tying and weaving techniques using twine to bind their brooms.  \nEach participant will bring home their own brooms\, but certain parts of construction may require two people to work together. Come with a friend or make one!  \nNote: This is a physically active workshop that involves using both your hands and legs\, and requires moderate strength and mobility.
