North Park Loop/Joe K Trail/McLhinney Park
The North Park Loop Trail System is located in Havre de Grace’s North Park and connects scenic riverside views near the historic Lock House Museum. Enjoy a waterside stroll on the loop and the connecting Joe K Trail, a 1.5-mile trail that also part of the Lower Susquehanna Heritage Greenway and the Mason Dixon Trail System.
This trail system offers a flat, easy hike that is great for all ages, and connects to the McLhinney Park playground, located near the head of the Joe K Trail. Travelers will pass under the Thomas J. Hatem Memorial bridge and enjoy picturesque views of the Susquehanna River, the rail bridge, “Frank’s Pond”, coastal birds and more.
