Join the thousands of children and adults who will kick off summer at the Magic of Science Fair and Family Festival! It promises to be a day of fun interactive activities and exploration through play.
Families will enjoy dozens of hands-on games and science experiments, play time in the Kidz Construction Corner, Robotics Arena, Modular Train Expo, and much more. Wander through our Marketplace and Exhibition Tents, take in the K9 Demonstration or participate in a Scavenger Hunt… Whatever you decide, fun is guaranteed!
A regional science fair for middle school students organized by the Senior Science Society will be held in conjunction with the Family Festival. Student participants will display their innovative projects in various STEM disciplines.

The Magic of Science Fair and Family Festival—engineered by the Discovery Center at Water’s Edge and many community partners—brings people together through the wonder of science. The hands-on exhibits enable participants to celebrate the science of everyday things through exploration of the scientific principles at play.
