Join the Joseph L Davis American Legion Post No 47 at the War Memorial in Tydings Park for our annual Memorial Day service. The ceremony begins promptly at 11:00am. Limited seating available. Please plan to bring your own chairs if possible. Lunch will be served at the American Legion and the VFW immediately following the conclusion of the ceremony.

Since our charter in 1919, our American Legion Post has been welcoming VETERANS from all branches of our Armed Forces. Today, we continue to welcome all military personnel serving our country. Joining our Post enables you to continue serving your God, Country and Community. Our mission is to implement the goals, aspirations, dreams, peace and blessings for our country, friends and families.
Enjoy a beautiful park overlooking the Susquehanna River, the HdG City Yacht Basin and the entrance to the Havre de Grace Promenade. Perfect location for outdoor fun, with picnic areas, public restroom, charcoal grills, a playground, pickleball courts and small gazebo.
