Dear Friends,

As an Army veteran, I highly value the mission of our armed
forces to protect our freedom and way of life. As county
executive, I am honored that Harford County is home to Aberdeen
Proving Ground and I’m proud to support the 21,000 military
service members and civilians who work on APG and their families.
As our largest employer, APG, along with 100+ defense
companies here in our Great American Defense Community, present
tremendous economic opportunities.
I meet regularly with APG’s senior leaders and Karen Holt,
our economic development director, works closely with leaders
inside and outside the gates. Her department also maintains a
satellite office on post that we share with the Army Alliance to
facilitate collaboration and support for commercialization.

Bob Brown, our Harford County veterans’ affairs
coordinator, continues to connect veterans, active military and
their families with available resources and
opportunities.

Now in our third year, my administration is
dedicated to supporting our nation’s warfighters
and their economic prosperity at home. If we may
